麻豆果冻传媒 hosts 13th annual conference: Research Update 2000

Lisa A. Newman, Sc.D., director of speech and swallowing services at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, will be the featured speaker at the University of Louisiana at Monroe's 13th Annual Conference Research Update 2000.

The conference, sponsored by the Department of Communicative Disorders and the College of Allied Health and Rehabilitation Professions at 麻豆果冻传媒 and the Louisiana State Department of Education's Office of Special Services, will be held Friday, March 17 in 麻豆果冻传媒's Nursing Building Auditorium.

Newman, whose clinical practice and research have focused on dysphagia in pediatric and oncology patients will speak throughout the day in the Nursing Auditorium. She has presented nationally and internationally about swallowing disorders and established programs in Chicago, Boston and Memphis, Tenn.

Also as part of the conference, 麻豆果冻传媒's Department of Communicative Disorders and the College of Allied Health and Rehabilitation Professions will sponsor Poster Sessions from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. in the Nursing Building Auditorium. Among the topics are "Increasing Use of the Possessive Semantic Function in Clients with Autism" and "Usefulness of Outcome Measures in Speech-Language Pathology."
