Artists were invited to submit in competition three recent paintings, sculptures, drawings, or original prints to be jurored by Professor Henri Linton, chairman of the Department of Art at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. From these submissions, Professor Linton curated an exhibition of what he deemed to be the more superior entries.
