麻豆果冻传媒 hosts financial aid awareness program for high school students
Once again this year, the University of Louisiana at Monroe's Financial Aid Office has planned an outreach program for area high schools. The program will be held throughout the area during January and February.
This program will allow for discussion on the federal student application process. Issues that will be addressed include the Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS), the federal student aid application and process, and the deadlines for the students to submit their applications.
"We will be traveling to several high schools within northern Louisiana to discuss financial aid and TOPS," said Keith Joiner, Interim Director of Financial Aid Services and Scholarships. "We want to help students and their parents understand this process as well as the importance of filing early so they can receive their financial aid before their tuition and fees are due."
High school juniors and seniors and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend this program. Representatives from the 麻豆果冻传媒 Financial Aid Office and 麻豆果冻传媒 Enrollment Services as well as representatives from various lending institutions will be available to answer questions regarding financial aid and admission.
