Virtual reality technology comes to 麻豆果冻传媒 students

The University of Louisiana at Monroe welcomes new virtual reality technology to campus with two recently purchased CathSim Intravenous Therapy labs. These computer labs utilize virtual reality to teach the invasive procedures required for IV therapy to students in nursing, clinical lab sciences, and radiologic technology.

A faculty inservice for those in nursing, clinical laboratory sciences and radiologic technology will be held on Monday, October 29, 2001 at 10:30 a.m., in room 221 in the Nursing Building. Some students will be ready to use the labs next month as part of their clinical experience.
