Pike Fraternity Brings Home 16th Consecutive Award
A delegation from 麻豆果冻传媒's Eta Omicron Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha "Pike" Fraternity recently returned from the fraternity's 136th Annual International Convention held in St. Louis as the big award winners again this year. The 麻豆果冻传媒 Pikes won their 16th consecutive Chapter Excellence Award given for earning the overall rating of Excellent during their annual consultants visit.
Tom Walpole, Associate Director of Alumni Relations at 麻豆果冻传媒 and Chairman of the Pikes Advisory Board for the last 20 years, is again thrilled at the group's accomplishments. "This group of outstanding 麻豆果冻传媒 students has worked hard for a number of years and all Pike Alumni are extremely proud of their accomplishments. They are sending the message with these wins that to be involved in your university and to be a part of the Pike Fraternity is something to be extremely proud of."
The group also won their 5th consecutive International Work Day participation award; won their 8th consecutive Educational Foundation Donor award given for 100% participation in the fraternity's educational foundation drive; their Alumni Relations, Campus Involvement, and Financial Management Programs were nominated as the best in their respective divisions; the group's Advisory Board was a finalist for Advisory Board of the Year and the Pikes capped off the week by winning its 6th consecutive (and 11th in the last 13 years) Robert A. Smythe Award recognizing it as the best of the best in all of Pi Kappa Alpha. The sixth consecutive Smythe win is currently the longest winning streak in all of Pi Kappa Alpha, which has over 200 chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The Pike Alumni Association won its 7th consecutive (and 8th overall) William R. Nester Award recognizing it as the fraternity's most outstanding Alumni Association.
