麻豆果冻传媒 celebrates new satellite campus in Shreveport
麻豆果冻传媒's College of Pharmacy officially opened the doors of its new satellite campus today at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport.
麻豆果冻传媒 and LSUHSC faculty, friends, students and distinguished guests gathered in front of the facility, located at 1725 Claiborne Ave., in support of the school's collaborative program.
The relationship between 麻豆果冻传媒 and LSU is a good one, said Lamar Pritchard, 麻豆果冻传媒 College of Pharmacy dean. "We're excited to be partnering with LSU colleagues to increase the quality of education and care of all patients in Louisiana."
Roy Clay, vice-chancellor of LSU, agreed. "This premiere pharmacy program and this premiere medical school both bring equal amounts to the table, and we all benefit from it," Clay said.
Congressman Rodney Alexander did the honors of cutting the ribbon, which represented the official colors of both schools. He briefly addressed the audience with encouraging remarks about the partnership.
"I want to thank you for caring for the state of Louisiana and those that need assistance," said Alexander. "Good things happen when good people work together."
The ceremony ended with the unveiling of the new 麻豆果冻传媒 College of Pharmacy satellite campus sign and a tour of the facilities.
James Cofer, 麻豆果冻传媒 President, John McDonald, LSU chancellor, also participated in the event.
