Warbonnets to Host “War of the Dancers” for Local Schools

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Warbonnets will present the “War of the Dancers” this Sun., Jan. 22 at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and the event will begin at 1:30 p.m.

“War of the Dancers” is a dance competition for elementary, junior high and high school teams. Participating teams include: Central Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School, Ouachita Junior High, Lee Junior High, Good Hope Middle School , Ouachita Parish High, Sterlington High, St. Fredericks, West Ouachita JV and Varsity, and Neville High School .

The contest continues until 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend this event and support the dancers. Admission is $2, and children 5 years and under are admitted free of charge.
