Workshop Sept. 14 and 15

The University of Louisiana System was awarded a three-year $1.2 million dollar service-learning grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service to fund service-learning activities at the ULS system campuses.  Grants ranging from $2,500 to $30,000, with equivalent match, are available.  Grant applications are due at 5 p.m., Oct. 16, 2006.

The ULS will host a grant-writing workshop conference on Sept. 14 and 15 in Baton Rouge at the Claiborne Building.  Faculty, staff and student organizations are welcome to submit proposals. Proposals must be submitted online at www.ulsystem.net . There are several copies of the grant proposal in Wayne Brumfield’s office, located in room 612 University Library.
