Art professor receives national recognition
Cliff Tresner, associate professor of art at the University of Louisiana Monroe received second place for his sculpture March 18 at the Lakeland Component of the Seventh Annual Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition in Lakeland, Fla.
Tresner created a large carbon steel figure titled “Tower of Babel” that was displayed along with nine other artists along the Lemon Street Promenade, a three-block area through downtown Lakeland.
