Mass Comm professor presents paper in Las Vegas

Joel Willer, assistant professor of mass communications at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, presented a conference paper April 20 at the Broadcast Education Association national conference in Las Vegas, Nev.

The paper, titled "Contrasting U.S. Performance Licenses: Musical Works versus Sound Recordings," was presented for the panel "Copyrights in International Context: Updates for the Digital Millennium," which was co-sponsored by BEA's Law and Policy interest division and International interest division.
