Sandra Lunte, associate professor of music (flute) at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, continues her outstanding professional career with the release of her new music compact disc, “Montage—Four Centuries of Music for Flute and Harp.â€

The CD, released on the Centaur Records label, is a collaborative project with harpist Elizabeth Richter, professor of harp at Ball State University. The duo previously gave the world premiere of Gary Schocker’s “Chimera,†a piece they commissioned, at a 2005 convention in San Diego. The premiere recording of the piece may be heard on the CD.

Lunte and Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Richard Seiler, associate professor of music (piano), performed a full program of American music at the prestigious Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities in January. Future performances with Seiler include a faculty recital Monday, Nov. 5 in the Bidenharn Recital Hall. “We are an established duo and great friends, and we have performed often together for ten years.â€
