Social Work and Criminal Justice Career Day set for March 14
Career Services will host a career day for all social work and criminal justice majors Wednesday March 14 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Library Conference Center (7th floor).
Businesses from Louisiana and surrounding states will be available to answer questions and to speak to individuals on a one-on-one basis. Some of the business will include: Youth House of Ouachita, Inc., Texas Department of Public Safety, Monroe Mental Health Center, U.S. Border Patrol, Irving Texas Police Department, Division of Probation and Parole, Dallas Police Department, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, Family Justice Center of Ouachita Parrish, Office of Community Services, and many other state and local entities.
Career Services hosts career days throughout the year, with the first one available for all majors, and the following ones focused on a specific major or college.
