Greek Life announces spring semester award winners

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Office of Greek Life recently announced results of its productive and festive spring semester.

Highlights include: GreekFest 2007 – Greek Week included a torch run, "Meet-the-Greeks" sno-cone social, blood drive, canoe races, games, and a kickball tournament with Big Brothers Big Sisters; the Athenian Awards Banquet – chapters included in the Interfraternity Council, the National Panhellenic Conference, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council filled out extensive applications and received awards in various categories; and the NPHC Step Show.

"I am so impressed by the hard work and dedication shown by the Greeks on this campus,” said Rachel Goad, coordinator of Greek Life. “We had such a successful semester. Greek Life is continuing to grow at 鶹ý, and I know recruitment in the fall will be a success as well."
