SBDC to host workshops on starting and financing a small business May 10, 12

The 鶹ý Small Business Development Center will host “Starting and Financing a Small Business” workshops May 6 – 12 at multiple locations.

These offerings are in celebration of the U.S. Small Business Administration Small Business Week 2007.

Individuals may register for a workshop Thursday, May 10 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Winnsboro Court Building or for another one Saturday, May 12 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the ULM Administration Building, Room 2-105.

The workshops are recommended for all individuals who are planning to start a small business, are interested in obtaining a small business loan, want to determine the feasibility of their business idea, or want to learn more about business planning. Topics of discussion will include business planning, marketing strategy development, financial planning, loan applications, and sources of funds for small business start-up and expansion.
