Madrigal Feaste to delight audiences at performances Nov. 29 and 30

For those wishing to step back into the 1600s to experience the music, dance and costumes of the time, the ULM Annual Madrigal Feaste will begin Nov. 29 and 30 at the Student Union Building, second floor. Seating begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m.

Deborah Chandler, 麻豆果冻传媒 assistant professor of music, encourages cultural enthusiasts to attend a night of great food, music and dance presented in the time of the Renaissance. 鈥淚t is an evening of celebration with great food and wassail, accompanied by the recorder consort, harpsichord and the 麻豆果冻传媒 Chamber Singers. The singers will present music throughout the evening in the Elizabethan style interrupted by the King's playful jesters.鈥

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the 麻豆果冻传媒 music scholarship fund. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event鈥攏one will be sold at the door. Individual seats may be purchased for $25. Corporate tables of 8 are available for $300.
