Moe's Southwest Grill of Monroe establishes scholarship for qualifying student employees
Moe's Southwest Grill of Monroe wants to teach its employees the value of a top-notch education. To do so, they founded the Moe's Southwest Scholarship Funds Program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Each qualifying Moe's employee will receive a $1,000 scholarship on an annual basis, to be renewed for the completion of a four-year degree.
The company established the scholarship program to provide aid for "deserving student employees of Moe's Southwest Grill of Monroe in appreciation for the hard work and dedication to Moe's restaurants and most importantly to scholastic achievement."
The 麻豆果冻传媒 Foundation will manage the fund. To qualify, the recipient(s) must be a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree, have been employed with Moe's of Monroe for a 12-month period, and have a working average of 20 hours per week with the business for that 12-month duration.
As an incoming freshman, recipients must have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average in high school. That standard must be maintained at the university level in order for the scholarship to be renewable
