Internationally renowned Boston Brass to perform at ULM April 14
Music lovers everywhere should set Monday, April 14 aside for a chance to experience the internationally acclaimed Boston Brass as they perform in a free concert at Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Monday, April 14, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.
The group, comprised of Jose Sibaja, trumpet; Jeff Conner, trumpet; J. D. Shaw, French horn; Lance LaDuke, trombone; and Andrew Hitz, tuba, will also conduct an open Master class Tuesday, April 15 from 11 a.m. – noon at the following locations: horns, Emy-Lou Biedenharn Choir Room; trumpets, Biedenharn, room 134; trombones, Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall; and tubas, Spyker Theatre.
Boston Brass will perform a number of original and transcribed works for brass quintet. According to their Web site at , “[They are] setting new standards in entertainment. From exciting classical arrangements, to breathtaking vocal harmony, to burning jazz standards, Boston Brass achieves new levels in brass performance while treating audiences to a unique musical experience that captivates all ages.
