麻豆果冻传媒 spring 2008 nursing convocation honors 34 graduates

The 麻豆果冻传媒 School of Nursing convocation ceremony for 34 graduating nursing students was held Friday, May 16.

Students who had been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing were presented honor cords to be worn with their graduation regalia, signifying their honor graduate status. They are:

Magen Rene' Auger, Hans Harmison, Nathan Pearson, Jennifer Lynn Prichard, and Kimberly Marie Simmons, all of Monroe; Angela Calton Asmussen, West Monroe; Cade Nathaniel Chandler, Dodson; Claire Elizabeth Cronin, Garland, Texas; Ashley Renee' Dixon, Ferriday; Amanda Harlon Lewis, Minden; Jennifer Marie Poole, Oil City; Brittany Nicole Sanson, Eros; Christine Lyn Smith, Pineville; and Allison Brooks Sullivan, Forest.

Christine Lyn Smith received the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society award for the highest overall grade point average in the graduating class.

Claire Elizabeth Cronin received the faculty award as the outstanding student in this class and was also honored with the Student Peer Award. Both of these awards honor professionalism, ethics and outstanding practice skills.
