Stewart selected to receive the Merck Vaccination Service Award
Dr. Roxie Stewart, assistant professor of clinical and administrative sciences in the 麻豆果冻传媒 College of Pharmacy, was recently selected to receive the Merck Vaccination Service Award.
As August was National Immunization Awareness Month, Merck chose Stewart as the award recipient for her efforts in co-developing and implementing the immunization curriculum for the 麻豆果冻传媒 COP.
Merck representatives John Matthews, Cindy Thompson and Danny Ebarb presented Stewart with a framed certificate for her advocacy concerning public health and vaccinations as a means to prevent disease. A charitable donation was given in her name to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation.
