Aviation honor society inducts new members
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Aviation Program recently inducted several aviation majors into Eta Mu Sigma, the aviation honor society. To be invited into Eta Mu Sigma, the individual must be a junior with a minimum 3.30 cumulative GPA, or a senior with a minimum 3.00 GPA.
The Spring 2009 Eta Mu Sigma inductees, all seniors, are:
- Scott Cararas, Monroe
- Gary McCourt, Monroe
- Joseph Beard, Vicksburg, Miss.
- Alex Neill, Bossier City
- Heath Johnson, Bastrop
- Jordan Bryan, Monroe
- Max Pippin, Flora, Miss.
The purpose of Eta Mu Sigma is to recognize and honor those individuals in the field of aviation who have through scholarship, integrity, and outstanding achievement, are a credit to their profession and their school.
