“Diversity in Education” Feb. 19; part of Black History Month

The Black History Month Committee, part of 鶹ý’s Diversity Committee, will host “Diversity in Education” Feb. 19, 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. The presentation will take place in the 鶹ý Library, Room 3D.

Debra Jackson, chair of the Black History Month Committee and assistant professor of biology, said, “The program will talk about the history, accomplishments and future of African-Americans in the social sciences and basic sciences. We will also have speakers on achievements of some famous non-American Blacks and how to infuse diversity into library science."
