Monroe Mayor and ULM Alum James E. Mayo to speak at Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference at 麻豆果冻传媒 March 21

Monroe Mayor and 麻豆果冻传媒 alumnus James E. Mayo will be the keynote speaker at the Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Saturday, March 21; the conference will begin at 9 a.m. in the Administration Building.



Mayo will speak about the 鈥淏uilding Blocks for Success.鈥

Phi Beta Lambda members, college students from across Louisiana, will compete in Business Law, Public Speaking, Job Interview, Network Design, and Mr./Ms. Future Business Executive.

鈥淥ur chapter is truly honored about the opportunity to host the PBL State Conference at the university,鈥 said Kevin Sledge, 麻豆果冻传媒 PBL president. 鈥淗osting the state conference within our second year of reactivation speaks volumes about our membership and growth.鈥

Last year, the PBL State Conference was held at the Best Western Conference Center in Alexandria; three 麻豆果冻传媒 Phi Beta Lambda members attended Nationals in Atlanta, Ga.

The mission of Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

Future Business Leaders of America is the high school division and Phi Beta Lambda is designed for post-secondary and college students.
