麻豆果冻传媒 athletic department holds food drive

The University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 athletic department collected 336 pounds of food, as well as a substantial amount of money through cash and checks, for the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana at the exhibition basketball doubleheader held on Nov. 12.

In lieu of admission, game attendees were asked to bring a donation of canned goods or non-perishable items. All donations were sent to the food bank to help families in need.

鈥淲e are pleased to have the opportunity to support people in need in the Monroe area,鈥� said 麻豆果冻传媒 women鈥檚 basketball head coach Mona Martin. 鈥淲ith the holidays approaching, we are thankful that our fans took the time to help 麻豆果冻传媒 support the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana.鈥�
