Miss Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Pageant set for Oct. 8

The Miss Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Pageant is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, from
7 – 9 p.m. in Brown Auditorium on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The Miss Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss Louisiana Pageant sponsored by the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Organization.

The competitive scholarship program emphasizes physical fitness, talent, public speaking and academics. Contestants must demonstrate poise, personality, intelligence, charm and beauty during the pageant, and must showcase a trained talent in a 90-second performance.

Each contestant must be a full-time Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ student and also adhere to grade point average requirements in order to compete in the Miss Louisiana Pageant.
