鶹ý professor to speak at seminar in South Korea

Dr. Paul Sylvester, Director of Research and Graduate studies from the College of Pharmacy, has been invited to speak at a technical seminar on palm oil and palm bioactives.

The Malaysian Palm Oil Council has organized the seminar for Sept. 14 at the Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The event is a joint effort with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation of Seoul and is aimed to highlight the market development of palm oil and palm bioactives and its advantages in various food and non-food processing sectors.

The council, recognizing Sylvester’s expertise and involvement in palm tocotrienol research, extended the invitation to Sylvester to speak at the seminar.

The proposed title of the paper is “Synergistic Anticancer Effects of Combination ?- Tocotrienol Treatment with Other Chemotherapeutic Agents”.
