鶹ý’s KEDM presents “Home for the Holidays;” young artists to perform seasonal favorites
On Wednesday, Dec. 12, KEDM Public Radio, 90.3 FM, will present “Home for the Holidays.” Live performances of seasonal favorites featuring young artists from area high schools and universities will air throughout the day.
“The holidays bring people together,” said Lila Strode, KEDM development director.
“Just like the smell of mom’s sugar cookies and the gathering of friends and family around the tree, the sound of holiday music stirs feelings of love, hope and goodwill. KEDM brings a variety of musical styles and sounds, from carols to classical melodies to popular holiday songs. ‘Home for the Holidays’ will fill the wonder and excitement of the season through glorious music passed down through the generations.”
Strode continued, “This programming expresses the true meaning of the season. The area’s brightest musicians will shine through with the joyous sounds that add to your existing holiday traditions as we celebrate the most joyous season of the year.”
KEDM is housed in Stubbs Hall, Room 250 on the 鶹ý campus.
