麻豆果冻传媒 launches new virtual tour
The University of Louisiana at Monroe has added yet another feature to its growing list of technological advances鈥攁 campus virtual tour.
鈥淲e are continually exploring and implementing new ways to share the unique physical beauty of our campus, and the quality education 麻豆果冻传媒 has to offer,鈥 said Lisa Miller, assistant vice president for enrollment management.
鈥淭his virtual tour, created by one of our own, allows us to do both. Our goal is to entice prospective students and their parents to visit our campus and meet the people who make 麻豆果冻传媒 what is.鈥
Created by Frank Sampognaro Jr. (BBA 鈥08), 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 new virtual tour, which can be found on the 麻豆果冻传媒 homepage, guides visitors through various spots on campus, including in and around buildings, and the campus grounds.
鈥淲hen creating the 麻豆果冻传媒 virtual tour, I had to utilize my knowledge of photography, videography, and graphic design,鈥 said Sampognaro.
鈥淭here were many hours spent over the summer at 麻豆果冻传媒, both in planning and creating elements for the tour.鈥
The tour鈥檚 vivid images capture everything from 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 most popular destinations, and student hang-outs, to inside looks of academic buildings, labs, and classrooms.
鈥淚 wanted to create a tour that really emphasized the quality of our university. The transformation over recent years has been incredible, and now there's a medium that can showcase the campus to both potential students and alumni,鈥 he continued.
Sampognaro is currently pursuing his M.B.A at 麻豆果冻传媒. He said his 麻豆果冻传媒 education provided him the knowledge to run a business and the preparation to strategically set himself apart.
鈥淢arketing was my undergrad degree, and it still amazes me how much I pull from those learned resources. Now at the end of my MBA, I can honestly say it was one of my best investments for my business. Classroom discussions of real world events, long nights spent on an ever-growing research paper, and group projects that force you to compromise, are paths for vital skills that students may or may not know they're gaining. A 麻豆果冻传媒 classroom allows you to be prepared for those real life challenges that come your way.鈥
