麻豆果冻传媒 announces winners of Region III science and social studies fairs
The University of Louisiana at Monroe recently hosted two fairs: the 2013 Region III Science and Engineer Fair on Tuesday, March 12, and the 2013 Region III Social Studies Fair on Thursday, March 14.
Both fairs were held at 麻豆果冻传媒's Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
The science and engineering fair was divided into two categories.
The senior category, open to grades 9-12, and the junior category, open to grades 4-8.
A record-breaking number of projects were entered in the 2013 Regional Social Studies Fair: 486 individual and group projects.
Students in grades 4-12 from all schools in nine Northeast Louisiana parishes, and Monroe City, participated. First and second place winners are eligible to participate in the Louisiana State Social Studies Fair in Lake Charles.
Results of the Regional Social Studies Fair are as follows:
