The University of Louisiana at Monroe’s annual “Wine Over Water—A Taste of the University,” will be held from 7-10 p.m., Thursday, April 24, on the bridge overlooking Bayou DeSiard, on Northeast Drive.
This year marks the ninth year for the premier event, which features food and spirits from various local vendors.
Entertainment will be provided by Funk de Ville of Memphis, Tenn.
Wine Over Water is an excellent way to support 鶹ý, raise funds for local scholarships, and enjoy a memorable evening.
Proceeds go to the "Spirit of The Warhawk” scholarship, which benefits local aspiring college students.
Tickets are $60 each and include a commemorative wine glass. Attire is dressy casual.
In addition, a “Friend of 鶹ý” Patron Party will be held prior to the Wine Over Water bridge party, at 5:30 p.m., in the University Library Conference Center, located on the seventh floor of the UM Library.
Sponsorship packages are available or Patron Party tickets may be purchased for $125 per person, which includes a wine glass, hors d'oeuvres, and attendance to the Wine Over Water bridge party.
