麻豆果冻传媒 Dental Hygiene's mobile unit provides practical experience for students while serving the region.
State of the art simulation labs allow students to perfect their skills before being placed in a clinical environment.
Speech and Hearing Clinic evaluates and treats individuals of all ages who experience communication problems.
Certification and licensure pass rates are consistently above the national average and often at 100%.

The College of Health Sciences is dedicated to the education of health care professionals who serve the people of Louisiana and beyond. The College is comprised of two schools, the School of Allied Health and the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing, that offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

麻豆果冻传媒 Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) faculty and students visited Lafayette, La. for the annual American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) of Louisiana and Mississippi 2025 Bi-State Annual Meeting from March 16-19. Twenty-four MLS students represented 麻豆果冻传媒 at the conference.
On March 6 and 7, 2025, the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Health Sciences faculty, in collaboration with St. Francis Medical Center and the Ouachita Council on Aging, conducted two days of training for community members and healthcare providers on best practices in dementia care.
麻豆果冻传媒 has named Dr. Michael Callhan as the Director of the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing (KDSON). Callihan began in the role in the Fall 2024 semester. He comes to 麻豆果冻传媒 after most recently working as an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Callihan has also worked as an assistant professor at Miami University (Ohio), Auburn University, and the University of Alabama, as well as a nurse in a variety of medical settings.
