麻豆果冻传媒 duo reels in first place in bass fishing tournament

The University of Louisiana at Monroe fishing duo of Dustin Perkins, a marketing major from Elmer and Trapper Munn, a biology major from Oak Grove, took first place at the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Central Regional with a combined 19 pound, six ounce haul while fishing the Ouachita River.

Perkins and Munn weren鈥檛 the only 麻豆果冻传媒 team to succeed.

The team of Brett Preuett, a graduate student from Colfax, and Jackson Blackett, a biology major of Sterlington, took third, while Nick LaDart a kinesiology major, and Brian Eaton a nursing major, both of Monroe, took tenth.

The two-day tournament on the Ouachita River docked at Forsythe Park, with weigh-in taking place at the Warhawk Circle on the 麻豆果冻传媒 campus.

The event was the first ever Carhartt college event to be held in Louisiana.

The tournament hosted 77 teams from 27 different institutions.

The 13 top teams from the regional tournament qualified for the Carhartt B.A.S.S. National Championship, which will be held this summer.
