Dr. Benny Blaylock, dean of the College of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences commented, "Dr. Fellows is an outstanding administrator in our college and university. As Program Chair, she will no doubt enhance the conference of academic deans by providing timely and pertinent programming."
Established in 1941, NCAD is one of the nation’s oldest organizations focused on the deanship; it has been held annually since 1948. Programing focuses on issues and challenges faced by academic deans and other higher education administrators.
The theme for the 2015 conference is "Making Connections, Building Relationships."
Dr. James Machell, dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma and conference chair for the 67th annual NCAD Conference in 2013 noted, "We could not be more delighted that Dr. Fellows has agreed to serve as program chair in 2015."
"Dr. Fellows’ administrative expertise and experience, coupled with her past deep engagement with this professional community will enable her to enjoy great success and for our conferences to continue to be meaningful learning events for academic deans from across the country."
As Program Chair, Fellows will be responsible for coordinating the call for papers, reviewing proposals, ensuring that the objectives of the steering committee are met, and that the program matches the theme of the conference.
