The post-graduation internship is a paid 12-week program which provides recent graduates with real-world experience through a variety of media outlets and quality academic training from prominent journalists and public policy experts.
Since 1977, the National Journalism Center has trained aspiring journalists in the values of responsible, balanced, and accurate reporting.
鈥淚'm looking forward to using the research and writing skills that I acquired and sharpened through the 麻豆果冻传媒 political science program,鈥 said Parker. 鈥淣one of this would have been possible without the dedicated teaching and the constant push to be better from my professors.鈥
鈥淎s a political science major, being able to live and work in Washington, D.C., has been a life goal for me,鈥 said Parker.
Dr. John W. Sutherlin, associate professor and program coordinator for political science remarked, 鈥淒rew has shown remarkable progress over the past couple of years. He has presented at academic conferences and I think that, coupled with his formal education, prepared him for this extraordinary opportunity.鈥
The Political Science program along with the Social Science Research Lab conducts one of the most active internship programs at 麻豆果冻传媒.
