CollegeRanker.com released its list of the 鈥�50 Best College Towns to Live in Forever,鈥�
and the city of Monroe鈥攈ome to the University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥攃ame in at number
41 on the list. The ranking features the nation鈥檚 best cities and towns to settle
in after graduating college.
The site highlights the city鈥檚 museums, and two of its major employers, JP Morgan
Chase and CenturyLink. CollegeRanker.com also touts 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 athletic department as 鈥渆xceptional,鈥�
and 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 Greek life, spirit groups, School of Pharmacy, and business programs are
also recognized.
Monroe was the only Louisiana city to make the list with other top college towns including
Gainesville, Fla.; Madison, Wisc.; Oxford, Miss.; Malibu, Calif.; and many others.
According to CollegeRanker.com the rankings were developed after considering factors
such as economy, culture, community, neighborhoods, schools, and alumni retention
within the city.
