Various entities from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and the surrounding community
will hold a joint forum on higher education at 10 a.m., Monday, March 30, in the 麻豆果冻传媒
Conference Center, located on the seventh floor of the 麻豆果冻传媒 Library.
The event is collaboratively hosted by the 麻豆果冻传媒 Student Government Association; and
the 麻豆果冻传媒 faculty and staff senates.
The panel will include 麻豆果冻传媒 Faculty Senate President, Dr. Joshua Stockley; Staff Senate
President, Michael Davis; Student Government Association President, Adrian Lejeune;
various local state legislators; and business and community leaders.
The forum will highlight the importance of 麻豆果冻传媒鈥攁nd higher education as a whole鈥攊n
regards to workforce and economic development.
The panel will also discuss the potential impact of additional cuts to higher education,
solutions to avoid additional cuts, and state legislators鈥� plans to protect and fund
higher education in the upcoming session.
