麻豆果冻传媒 to break ground on Doppler Radar

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will break ground on a much-anticipated project听at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, at 807 HWY 80.听

The 麻豆果冻传媒 Doppler Radar, funded by GOHSEP (the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness), 听will fill a dire need in the region, with the closest Doppler systems being housed in Shreveport and Jackson.

The new radar will provide coverage for Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union and West Carroll Parishes.

The radar serves a pivotal addition for northeast Louisiana, and for the 麻豆果冻传媒 atmospheric science program.
