Clinicians for the band camp include Kevin Rabon, band director at Cope Middle School in Bossier City, and Chad Causey, band director at Airline High School in Bossier City.

Special camp clinician is Paula Crider, Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas at Austin. Crider taught for over 30 years in public schools and universities, and in 1995 was selected for membership in the prestigious American Bandmasters Association. Crider became only the third woman in the association’s history to receive the honor.

Crider will also hold special sessions for band directors regarding the state of music education in the United States, band literature, and programming.

Campers are asked to bring their instrument, reeds, valve oil, swabs, pencils, comfortable clothes and shoes, and a daily sack lunch or money for lunch to be purchased.

Monday and Tuesday camp days run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday’s camp day runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
