Students, alumni, and all members of the 麻豆果冻传媒 family are invited to enjoy a host of
activities leading up to the Homecoming football game against Georgia Southern at
6 p.m., Saturday, October 3, in Malone Stadium.
The Homecoming theme this year is 鈥淏ack to the Bayou,鈥� and the events for each day
of the week will highlight different decades from years past.
The community is invited to come back to the bayou and enjoy new 麻豆果冻传媒 traditions as

Monday, Sept. 28:
Spirit Day begins at 11 a.m. with the Art Project: I Love 麻豆果冻传媒 Wall聽unveiling in Bayou
Park.
The Chennault Museum will have a special display in the Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The kick off Pep Rally is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at Malone Stadium. This year鈥檚 Homecoming
Court will be presented.
Tuesday, Sept. 29:
The 麻豆果冻传媒 Ski Team will perform at Alumni Heritage Park at 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 30:
The University Mile starts at 5:30 p.m. The run begins at Hemphill Hall with pre-registration
at the Activity Center.
Thursday, Oct. 1:
Robert Stephens, founder of the Geek Squad, speaks at 6 p.m. at the Business Symposium
in Brown Auditorium.
Friday, Oct. 2:
The 麻豆果冻传媒 Soccer team takes on Troy at 3 p.m. at the 麻豆果冻传媒 Soccer Field.
At 6 p.m. 麻豆果冻传媒 will introduce a new tradition, the 24-hour Ringing of the Bell at Malone
Stadium. The bell signals the beginning of the weekend festivities and will resound
over campus.
The 麻豆果冻传媒 Volleyball team plays Appalachian聽State at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 3:
The day begins with the Homecoming Awards Brunch at 10:00 a.m. in the University Conference
Center located on the 7th聽floor of the 麻豆果冻传媒 Library.
The entire family is invited to watch as the Homecoming Parade
rolls through campus starting at the Library and ending in the Grove at 1:30 p.m.
After the parade, tailgating begins in the Grove at 2:30 p.m., and kids are invited
to stop by the Alumni Tent at 3:00 p.m. to participate in a Coloring Contest.
The Warhawk Football Team takes on Georgia Southern at 6 p.m. in Malone Stadium.聽
