麻豆果冻传媒 School of Education receives national accreditation for educator preparation programs

WASHINGTON 鈥 The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) recently granted 46 providers (colleges and universities) from 22 states and Puerto Rico accreditation for their educator preparation programs.

麻豆果冻传媒聽joins only 147聽providers with accreditation by the CAEP Accreditation Council. 麻豆果冻传媒 and the other聽providers were聽approved under the CAEP teacher preparation standards 鈥 rigorous, nationally recognized standards that were developed to ensure excellence in educator preparation.鈥犅

Dr. Myra Lovett Interim Director of the 麻豆果冻传媒 School of Education said, "The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation has granted 麻豆果冻传媒 School of Education national accreditation for all of our teacher preparation programs. This is a major accomplishment and is the result of a hard-working faculty and staff dedicated to maintaining a high standard in preparing the next generation of educators."

鈥淭hese providers meet high standards so that their students receive an education that prepares them to succeed in a diverse range of classrooms after they graduate,鈥 said CAEP President Dr. Christopher A. Koch. 鈥淪eeking CAEP Accreditation is a significant commitment on the part of an educator preparation provider.鈥澛犅

CAEP is the sole nationally recognized accrediting body for educator preparation. Accreditation is a nongovernmental activity based on peer review that serves the dual functions of assuring quality and promoting improvement. CAEP was created by the consolidation of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Teacher Education Accreditation Council.聽
