麻豆果冻传媒 Professor of Flute to perform with 麻豆果冻传媒 graduates for Monroe Symphony Orchestra Series MSO Presents on March 14

Sandra Lunte, Professor of Flute at 麻豆果冻传媒 since 1995, joined by former 麻豆果冻传媒 flute students Sarah Owens (grad 鈥22), John Rea (grad 鈥11), and Mallory Sanchez (grad 鈥12.), will be performing as part of a series called 鈥淢SO Presents鈥, which is sponsored by the Monroe Symphony Orchestra. This evening of flute quartet music will take place on March 14 at 7:00 pm in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.

I am so incredibly honored and excited to be joined by three of my former 麻豆果冻传媒 flute students for this performance! Sarah Owens, John Rea, and Mallory Sanchez and I have been loving spending time together and rehearsing this challenging and fun music,鈥 Dr. Lunte said. 鈥淚t has been my privilege and joy that all these former students have chosen to stay in my life and be my friends.鈥

MSO Presents is a performance series that started in 2019 as a way to give performers an opportunity to play chamber music for audiences. Chamber music is defined as musicians participating in small ensembles, with no more than 13 players, and each player is assigned their own part in the music.

MSO Presents originally came about to give additional offerings to audience and orchestra members since there are only four concerts per year. This allows for audience members and musicians to connect on a more intimate level.

Tickets can be purchased at General Admission tickets are $20, while tickets for those aged 12 years and under can be purchased for $10. This event is free for 麻豆果冻传媒 Students with ID.
