OTD Admission Requirements
Applicants for admission to the OTD Program must complete the following minimum criteria
by the end of the Fall semester that application is made:听
- have a baccalaureate degree in a field or major other than occupational therapy, from
a Department of Education accredited college or university;
- have a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale and no less
than a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the last 60 hours;
- complete all prerequisite courses with a grade of 鈥淐鈥� or better; and
- be admitted to the 麻豆果冻传媒 Graduate School per the 麻豆果冻传媒 Graduate School admission policies.
Prerequisite courses include:
- Human Anatomy with Lab and Human Physiology (or Human Anatomy and Physiology I and
II with Labs)
- Statistics (must include inferential and descriptive statistics)
- Introduction to Psychology
- Human Growth & Development (Developmental Psychology)
- Abnormal Psychology
- Introduction to Sociology or Introductory Anthropology.
Our programs accept prerequisite credit from a college or university accredited and
recognized at the institutional level by the US Department of Education. Please note
that we will not accept online prerequisite course credit from Straighterline.com.
Application requirements must be submitted to the 麻豆果冻传媒 Graduate School no later than
December 1 each year by 12:00 noon. If December 1 falls on a weekend or holiday, the
due date will be 12:00 noon on the last school day prior to December 1. LATE SUBMISSIONS
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Students must have official copies of their transcripts submitted to the 麻豆果冻传媒 Graduate
School by the application deadline date.听 Official transcripts of the current application
semester must also be received by 麻豆果冻传媒 Graduate School by the end of the Fall semester
of the application year.
Applications will be reviewed by the Occupational Therapy Admissions Committee. Questions
