Welcome to 麻豆果冻传媒 Theatre
Beginning in 1953, at the then Northeast Louisiana State College, theatre at 麻豆果冻传媒 has
a rich and impressive history.
The mission of the Theatre and Dance programs is to provide a balanced student-centered
program of professional and pre-professional instruction as well as participatory
opportunities for all students and area citizens regardless of interest or professional
aspirations. Theatre & Dance at 麻豆果冻传媒 will present performances, workshops, and events
for the general public throughout the region to improve the cultural community as
a whole.听

Auditions for Shrek The Musical
Shrek the Musical Auditions
NEW UPDATE!!!!
Due to cancellations and weather/road concerns, SHREK auditions have been postponed
to Monday, Jan. 22 at 4 PM in Spyker Hall, with callbacks on Jan. 23 at 4 PM in Spyker Hall. 听Also be aware that rehearsals will begin on Wednesday Jan. 24 at 4 PM. Stay safe, and we looking forward to seeing you all!
Performers will be expected to sing a cut of a song that is approximately a minute
long (preferably from a musical) and participate in a group dance call 鈥� you will
be taught a short dance sequence to determine your abilities/comfort with moving.
听If we are interested in you for a lead or a featured part, you may be called back
on Jan. 23 at 4 PM.
Requirements: * You must be a current 麻豆果冻传媒 student. * You must bring sheet music for your song or an accompaniment track that we can play
through a Bluetooth speaker (sheet music preferred). * You must be available for the majority of regular rehearsals and ALL tech rehearsals,
dress rehearsals and performances. 听Check calendar below. 听You will be asked about
all rehearsal conflicts at auditions.听
